The Summit melds European sophistication with Western style. Located in the heart of Big Sky's Mountain Village, this historic hotel was part of the late NBC News broadcaster Chet Huntley's original vision for Big Sky Resort. The large kitchen is equipped with top-of-the-line granite countertops and Thermador appliances, including a 6-burner stove and double oven with indoor grill top, two refrigerators, and a walk-in pantry. Guests can choose to dine in the large dining area or outside on the large wraparound deck with ceiling heaters. Other amenities include a house-wide Sonos sound system and two home theater systems, two sets of washer/dryers, an outdoor gas fire pit, large gas grill, 8-person outdoor hot tub, separate ski/gear room, and 2-car garage.

In addition to a king-sized bed, this room features a plush loveseat facing a gas fireplace, a flat-screen TV, and an en-suite bathroom with a soaker tub and separate shower. Two additional bedrooms are on the first floor, both featuring queen-sized beds and private bathrooms. A third-floor loft features two additional twin beds plus an additional trundle bed to comfortably sleep 10 total guests, as well as a full-length sofa, desk, flat-screen TV and private bath. From the main-level ski room, a private staircase leads to a groomed access trail for convenient ski access to Moonlight Basin or Big Sky Resort, giving each guest the freedom to hit the slopes, break for lunch, or start apres-ski at their leisure.
