Huntley Lodge

Located in the heart of Big Sky's Mountain Village, this historic hotel was part of the late NBC News broadcaster Chet Huntley's original vision for Big Sky Resort. The Huntley Lodge sits on the plaza at the base of the mountain, with the Explorer Lift just out the back door. Under the same roof are restaurants, shopping, ski storage, meeting rooms, and the Solace Spa. From this mountain-top estate, Big Sky’s two base areas are a 5-minute drive away, offering easy access to ski school, shopping, dining and family activities. Big Sky Town Center, offering restaurants, movies, free concerts, and a seasonal farmers’ market, is a 10-minute drive. Powder Ridge Cabins

Powder Ridge Cabins are handcrafted cabins with roomy floor plans, modern amenities, and old world charm. Enjoy cozy a fireplace, private outdoor hot tub, and a full kitchen, all nestled in the pines on the flanks of Lone Peak. The Powder Ridge Cabins are great for families and groups. Located on the north end of the Mountain Village, you can access skiing via secluded trails and bridges. In fact, on your first day of skiing, you can access the White Otter Lift and ski over to the base area to pick up your lift tickets. Just make sure you get exact directions on the best ski route back to your cabin, or you might end up too far down the mountain! Private vehicles are required for this location.

Lone View Lodge

Stunning views come with the Lone View Lodge home in Mountain Village, with ski access to Big Sky Resort via the White Otter and Cascade chair lifts. It’s just a short drive from Yellowstone National Park in the summer. The secluded location of this home affords spectacular mountain views from all angles. There are four bedrooms in total, two with king beds and private baths, a third with a queen bed, and a fourth with a twin bunk bed set and captain’s bunk bed set. The third and fourth bedrooms share a bath. A downstairs family room includes a home theater and gas fireplace, making it a comfortable retreat for the family in addition to the living room. This home also offers a private outdoor hot tub as well as a gas grill, Direct TV, and wireless internet. For your convenience Lone View also provides a laundry room and a two-car garage.

Tanager House

Marrying modern architecture with a cozy mountain-home atmosphere, Tanager House is a 4-bedroom, 3-bath Silvertip cabin offering a light-filled, wood-and-glass escape with sweeping views of the surrounding Madison Mountain Range, including Lone Peak and the Spanish Peaks. With direct access to a groomed, novice-friendly ski trail, which takes you directly to the Madison Base Area and Six-Shooter high-speed chairlift, Tanager House is ideal for skiers of all levels. In the summer, explore hiking and mountain-biking trails at Moonlight Basin and Big Sky Resort. Built in 2015 and named by Architectural Digest among the world’s “9 Most Beautiful Hotel Cabins,” the Silvertip enclave is a collection of unique luxury ski cabins featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, hardwood beams, mixed stone-and-wood facades, and angular mid-century inspired silhouettes. The living area flows into a 10-seat dining area with a custom granite table and gourmet, fully-equipped kitchen. A glass door leads to a private deck with expansive views, lounge chairs, BBQ grill, and private hot tub. The picturesque sunset views are truly unforgettable. The home has a laundry room and one-car garage with customized storage for your skiing/snowboarding/biking equipment in addition to your vehicle, so you can easily explore surrounding areas, including the Meadow Village and Yellowstone National Park. Please note that if you opt to pay the guest fee, you can access the private Moonlight Basin Club, and its gracious amenities.

Cowboy Heaven Cabin 7

Nestled in the pines on the Moonlight Basin side of Lone Mountain with direct ski-in/ski-out access to Big Sky’s uncrowded slopes, this free-standing cabin offers comfort and convenience in an awesome location! It is an ideal Big Sky base for endless alpine adventures. From the open plan living area and kitchen through to the two spacious bedrooms, the warm interiors create the feel of a true ski cabin with mountain décor, handmade cabinets, and alpine artifacts. This 880 sq ft cabin is an ideal base for families and groups of friends and easily accommodates six guests in an en-suite master, bunk room with custom log beds and a sofa bed.
