    Canyons Expert Skiing

    Canyons expert skiing is seemingly endless. As the dominant type of terrain over the resort’s expansive 4,000 acres, expert skiing at Canyons is standout. With everything from trees to bowls, to chutes, to steep moguls and fall away groomed runs spread over Canyons nine peaks the most challenging part isn’t necessarily the leg-burning skiing, but deciding where to go. With all that world-class expert skiing to be had, and especially if you’re taking a short Canyons ski vacation, it’s important to have particular priority zones in mind, or you might end up in terrain or on long chairlifts lines you didn’t intend for.

    Canyons Expert Terrain

    All skiers have a preferred style or type of terrain, finding something that meets your expert skiing pursuits is easy at Canyons, but here are some of the best of the best . For those who are a little more daring, Murdock Bowl and Red Pine Bowl should be high on the list. Murdock Bowl is inbounds hike-to terrain from the top of Super Condor Express chairlift, and it’s sure to get your heart pumping in more than one way. Murdock is a series of long, wide, steep double black chutes; the further down the ridgeline you traverse the longer and steeper the chutes get. So to get ultra-radical you’ll want to head to One Hundred Turns. Red Pine Bowl, off of Ninety-Nine 90 Express chairlift, also features chutes, but they are much narrower and lined with trees. Red Pine Bowl also accesses don’t miss double black runs like Lower East Face and the expert glades of Fantasy Ridge. If there’s one area that you want to spend a lot of time in, it’s probably the terrain off the Ninety-Nine 90 Express chairlift. The Ninety-Nine 90 area is an expert skier’s slice of heaven with groomed and sometimes ungroomed cruisers, like Aspen Grove, 94 Turns and Talus Garden, plus all the steep glades on skiers right off the top of the lift. Expert skiers will never want to leave.
