Ski.com Acquires VacationRoost and Other Consumer Brands from LeisureLink

Aspen, Colo. – August 10, 2016 – Ski.com (www.ski.com), the largest provider of mountain vacation packages in North America, today announced the acquisition of the consumer mountain brands of Salt Lake City-based LeisureLink, the company’s largest competitor. Acquired brands include VacationRoost, Mountain Reservations, Park City Reservations, Breckenridge Destinations, Vail Destinations, Telluride Reservations and nearly two dozen others.

“We have viewed VacationRoost and the consumer websites under its umbrella for years with respect as strong competitors, so we are thrilled to be able to add them to Ski.com’s expansive portfolio of travel brands,” said Harry Peisach, Ski.com president and CEO. “By utilizing our industry-leading inventory of ancillary products including flights, lift tickets, equipment rentals, ground transportation, activities and more, expert trip-planning services offered by experienced Mountain Vacation Specialists and proprietary reservation software purpose built for mountain travel, we are confident we will deliver an even better experience to customers of these brands and significantly increase the number of travelers we send to our partner destinations.”

“Ski.com is the leader in custom ski vacation planning, and we are excited about the great job that our combined teams will do for customers of VacationRoost and MountainReservations,” said LeisureLink CEO Julian Castelli. “We expect our customers and our Destination Experts to thrive in the Ski.com family.”

Ski.com has begun to integrate its website and booking-system technologies into the LeisureLink consumer websites as part of an integration process that will take a few weeks to complete. Ski.com’s call center, manned by more than 65 Mountain Vacation Specialists who average more than two decades in the industry, will begin to take calls generated by these websites as early as today.
