    Telluride Expert Terrain

Where to start? The most renowned Telluride expert terrain exists off the ridges flanking the raw and beautiful Palmyra Peak. To ski the famed double-black Gold Hill, which skis better earlier in the day, head to Revelation Bowl. It takes a couple lift rides to access; take Village Express to Polar Queen Express to Gold Hill Express. When you drop into the steeps of Revelation Bowl, enjoy the G’s and arch wide turns. Take the Revelation Lift up and you’ll see signs for Gold Hill. At the bottom of this steep run, look up for incredible views of Palmyra Peak. To looker’s left of Palmyra you can spot Black Iron Bowl. If you stay high enough from Gold Hill you can access Prospect Express lift to get the goods on Black Iron Bowl. This short hike-to terrain accesses black diamond Confidence, and double-black Crystal, La Rosa and Genevieve. The higher up you go the better the snow conditions. There’s a mini couloir off of Genevieve and tons of cliff-dropping options scattered throughout Black Iron Bowl.
