    Courmayeur Dining

Downtown Courmayeur provides dinners with a ton of options, and most of them are spendy. You’re in Italy after all, so of course there’s a lot of great pasta and pizza dinners to be had. At the top of the dining gamut list is La Terrazza, which offers incredible, high quality and a great wine list all for a surprisingly reasonable price tag—for Courmayeur.  Families will particularly love La Terrazza for all the aforementioned reasons. Off the beaten path, Al Camin treats diners to a culinary tour of Italy from hearty meat dishes to fresh pasta. For a romantic dining experience Pierre Alexis is the place to go. The restaurant lives in charming, rustic building that still features the original stone work from the 1700s. Here you can enjoy great salads, starters, wine and wonderful authentic entrees. After dinner enjoy a cocktail or two at the bar with some Courmayeur locals. Fine diners consider Clotze in Val Ferret to be the pinnacle of Courmayeur dining.  Reservations are recommended at nearly all these restaurants, as dining is among Courmayeur’s most popular off-mountain activities. Meals last for hours and blend into the nightlife seamlessly.

    Courmayeur On-Mountain Restaurant

With a large non-skier crowd who frequents Plan Checrouit to sun bathe, drink and eat, you can bet the area’s on-mountain restaurants are topnotch. The Christiania is one of the hottest Courmayeur on-mountain restaurants. Families will love Alpetta for its kid-friendly fare, like sandwiches, burgers and pasta. Courmayeur skiers and snowboarders looking to save a buck or two should head to Baita for some reasonably priced—and good—cafeteria-style food.
