The Content Manager is responsible for managing the overall written communications for Ski.com and its family of websites, including a new travel brand. All content projects will be focused on brand guidelines, goals and personas as well as SEO best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop a web content strategy that encompasses the goals of the company and aligns with its image
Produce SEO-optimized written content for Ski.com and its family of websites for a variety of purposes, including:
Building required landing pages and editing existing ones
Achieving brand goals
Bolstering the blog by creating new posts and continuing to optimize old ones
Tackling SEO opportunities
Manage and support the copywriting process for email marketing, social media, ads and other communication channels as needed
Use Google Analytics and several SEO tools to monitor the health of Ski.com's website(s) to identify opportunities and pinpoint issues
Stay up to date on the latest SEO, content and digital marketing trends and best practices
Work with the CMS to edit and produce landing pages and update copy
Help storyboard marketing videos
Brainstorm with team members to develop new ideas
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
Excellent leadership, communication and decision-making skills
Three or more years copywriting experience
Adept at keyword placement and SEO best practices
Ability to problem solve
Excellent writing skills
Excellent grammar skills
Experience with HTML a plus
Experience in the outdoor industry a plus
