Near the middle of town, the Manitou condominiums share the building with the Manitou Lodge. There is a shared hot tub in the enclosed gazebo on the river side of the entry deck. A network of covered walkways and stairs lead to each of the individual condos once you pass the hot tub. Parking for the residences is at the south end of Fir Street, on the town-side of the river. A wooden footbridge, an integral part of the San Miguel River Trail, gets you to the Manitou. The chairlift #8 (Oak Street Lift) and Gondola plaza are 200 yards down the river trail, or less than a block via street. Two blocks straight up Fir Street you'll pass the grocery store and Baked In Telluride before being right downtown on Main Street.

Ajax Peak Unit C is a thoughtfully laid out and quality built condominium in a great location directly on a Colorado Avenue south-facing corner as you enter the Historic Landmark District of Telluride. There are only 12 units in the prestigious Dakota Place complex, each one beautifully finished and furnished. From the hot tub on the north-east facing deck, enjoy unobstructed views of spectacular alpenglow sunsets. An elevator to the heated parking garage makes transporting luggage and groceries easy.

A beautiful antique Art Deco chandelier hangs over the island. Off the kitchen is a sitting/living room with a large couch with a memory foam sofa sleeper, a big comfy chair, and a wood stove, a totally cozy spot.
